Australian Centre for Independent Journalism

The Australian Centre for Independent Journalism (ACIJ) produces high quality journalism, especially investigative journalism. We encourage a collaborative approach to journalism and work with freelance journalists, academics and industry. We publish our work with Reportage Online and across a range of media organizations and platforms.

The ACIJ also conducts and support research into journalism and the media. We contribute to scholarly debate and research about journalism; and we promote community discussion about the relationship of journalism to political, social and cultural democracy.
