About Joy of the Earth Community Garden Inc. (JOTE)
JOTE community garden is a one of ten community gardens on Frankston City Council land and works as an initiative for Frankston residents to come together to grow their own produce, provide opportunities for skills sharing and a way to connect with others in the community through open spaces. JOTE was established in 2012 with the partnership of the Rotary Club of Frankston where members of the community came together to convert four unused tennis courts as a garden on Joy Street. The garden has 55 patches and is open to any individual who can offer any unique skill sets in gardening and value connection with others
