About Pichi Richi Railway Preservation Society Inc - PRRPS
Awarded the 2021 South Australian Tourism Award for TOURIST ATTRACTION.
The Pichi Richi Railway is a heritage steam railway, based at Quorn in South Australia's Flinders Ranges. Trains operate on the old Ghan line between Quorn and Port Augusta, in South Australia. Our volunteer organisation operates and maintains the heritage tourist railway and rolling stock as a living and working museum. It has a large collection of historic locomotives, goods and passenger vehicles, which have been restored or are being returned to original and authentic working order.
Running a railway requires people from all walks of life and people willing to learn new skills or share their knowledge and experience.
We are family friendly and welcome enthusiastic and motivated people who can give us any of their time, we are flexible with your availability.
We would love to chat about opportunities that may suit you.
We welcome potential volunteers, so please call or email our Members Services Manager - Bronwyn
