About Darwin Surf Life Saving Club

Formed in 1982, Darwin Surf Lifesaving Club (DSLSC) provides a volunteer beach safety service of the highest standard to the community of Darwin.
Our volunteer Lifesavers patrol Casuarina and Nightcliff Beach on Sunday mornings and afternoons from May - October.
DSLSC members include Juniors (5-13 years), Youth (13 - 18 years) Seniors (19 years upwards), Associate and Social members
The clubhouse is situated on Daribah Rd Brinkin in the Casuarina Coastal Reserve.

The Junior Surf Lifesaving Program season runs on Sunday mornings at Casuarina beach from 8.30-10.30am from June to September.
Nippers for children aged 5 to 13 years provides activities and learning opportunities in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
Cadets are 13-15 years of age and able to train to complete the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) which is the first step to be a patrolling Surf Lifesaver.
The focus in DarwinSLSC is on instilling the children with the necessary skills, confidence and knowledge to enjoy the beach environment safely as well as developing fitness, surf awareness and teamwork.
