Macedon and Mount Macedon Community House

The house at 47 Victoria Street has been a Maternal and Child Health facility, a kindergarten and a home for playgroups and community gatherings. A group of dedicated residents recently rallied together to save the building from being sold for development. The Victoria St Neighbourhood House Working Group successfully campaigned to have the house retained by the community, and we’ve now formed Macedon Community House Inc. as a non-profit so we can take on the lease of the building.
