Carevan Blacktown

Carevan Blacktown is a small charity which provides a weekly meal service every Tuesday evening, for the socially disadvantaged within the local Blacktown area.
The community we care for vary in need and circumstance, from people suffering homelessness, financial hardship, drug and alcohol addiction or loneliness to families struggling to make ends meet, single parent families and anyone in need of a meal, clothing, hampers of pantry and hygiene goods and extra food supplies for the week.
We receive all who come along, without judgement or question, providing social inclusion in a warm, welcoming space, a meal and hampers to assist meeting household budgets for the week.
We are comprised entirely of volunteers and dependent on their time and generosity to run this weekly service and the charity itself.
