About Ballarat East Neighbourhood House

The Ballarat East Neighbourhood House has been up and running since mid-2019 with a fantastic response from community members. Our House has been established for the benefit of local residents and the broader community of the Ballarat East area including Mt Pleasant, Golden Point, Eureka, Ballarat East, Canadian, Warrenheip and the surrounds. The main purpose of our House is to enrich our community by providing opportunities to connect, participate and learn. We deliver regular activities at Eureka Hall on Stawell Street South, Ballarat East, including Tai Chi and a Drawing Group. We also have a new publication, the Ballarat East Community News, delivered by a team of volunteers to over 8000 letterboxes 6 times each year. Volunteers can get involved in many aspects of our organisation, such as teaching a skill to others in the community, delivering the newsletter, administration and reception tasks, research, helping us to connect with people in the community and much more.
