About TASC National
TASC National Limited is the largest regional Community Legal Centre in Queensland, providing legal, advocacy and social services to vulnerable and marginalised people across Toowoomba, Ipswich, Roma and parts of the Southern Downs and South West Queensland.
TASC National delivers services through its two units: TASC Legal Services and the Queensland Social Justice Centre. TASC Legal Services provides consultation, advice and referral services across criminal, civil and family law; seniors and disability law; and domestic and family violence. The Service also provides legal representation at hearings related to mental health. Through the Queensland Statewide Tenant Advice and Referral Service (QSTARS), TASC provides renters with free and independent tenancy advisory services.
TASC National’s Queensland Social Justice Centre delivers a range of advocacy and advice services as well as the Coordination of Supports to clients within the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
TASC National actively protects and promotes human rights and social justice through a combination of systemic and individual advocacy, law reform initiatives, legal assistance and the provision of resources.
