Eden Community Access Centre

The Eden Community Access Centre is a hub through which the community can connect with a range
of business and social services. It is a ground up, community informed, strengths based organisation
which promotes engagement, participation, capacity building and self-determination. The ECAC
Community Hub auspices a range of community organisations to deliver local projects to support
the social, economic viability and overall well being of our region. ECAC continues to play a vital role
is supporting people displaced from the Jan 2020 Border Fires and people affected by Covid and to
date has: Serviced and advocated in excess of 100 families and more than 300 individuals
Coordinated service provision with orgs such as Anglicare, St Vinnies, Sthn Area Mental Health, ADF
and many others to ensure people received appropriate help. Provided operational space and
equipment Facilitated and supported access to Centrelink Crisis payments, Food & fuel vouchers,
accommodation, grant applications and form completion.
