SCGOPHCG HREC

The Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG) Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) provides ethical advice to the hospital and researchers about proposed research projects.

Through reviewing research proposals, the HREC aims to protect the rights and interests of those participating in research. The HREC does this by assessing the research proposal and discussing any associated ethical issues such as exposure to risk, the information provided to participants and how participants will be consented.
