Tropical Arts Association Inc

For 13 years Tropical Arts has produced "Shakespeare at the Tanks" a major annual theatre production in partnership with Tanks Art Centre involving a diverse cast of about 50 and a large support crew. Tropical Arts collaborates with local artists and arts workers to deliver productions with high performance values to cairns audiences. Tropical Art's theatre training workshops and performances provide opportunities to experience and participate in inclusive community theatre. tropical Arts uses distributive leadership and scaffolding for success approaches to find pathways into theatre for aspiring theatre makers.
