About Australian BPD Foundation

The Australian BPD Foundation is a Not-for-Profit (NFP) organisation and registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

We are working to promote equity of care and support for everyone impacted by by the complex mental illness known as borderline personality disorder (BPD). This includes raising community and health sector awareness, educating the public, medical/mental health professionals and governments that BPD is treatable, and people can lead meaningful lives. Through our work, supported by our core values of justice, inclusion, equality, courage, collaboration, and integrity, we aim to bust the harmful negative and incorrect myths that are still prevalent. The Australian BPD Foundation has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status in Australia.
