About CMY - Dandenong

The Centre for Multicultural Youth is a not-for-profit organisation based in Victoria, providing specialist knowledge and support to young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds. Our vision is that young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds are connected, empowered and influential Australians.

Our purpose is to ensure that young people have every opportunity to succeed in Australia. Through a combination of specialist support services, training and consultancy, knowledge sharing and advocacy, we are working to remove the barriers young people face as they make Australia their home.

We Believe diversity is a cornerstone of Australia's success.

We believe respect for everyone's human rights is essential for a fair and equal society.

We believe everyone should be able to feel like they belong and can participate fully.

Some of our programs in operation include;
- Youth Support

- MY Education
- Ucan2
- Sport
- Sector and Community Partnerships
- Employment
- Policy and Research
- Youth Referral and Independent Persons Program (YRIPP)
