Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Australia

Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Australia (TASCA) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to:

-Serving as a support network for Australians affected by chronic genetic blood disorders known as haemoglobinopathies, including thalassaemia and sickle cell anaemia.

-Educating and raising public awareness of haemoglobinopathies and the importance of carrier status testing in Australia.

-Advocating for the improvements in the standard of care provided for Australians living with haemoglobinopathies.

-Encouraging the public to donate blood to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service to support Australians living with haemoglobinopathies in need of regular life-saving transfusions.
