Ballarat International Foto Biennale

Founded in 2005 the Ballarat International Foto Biennale has grown to become one of Australia’s pre-eminent photographic festivals. Held every two years we showcase the work of prominent international and national photographers and through our Open Program foster the development of emerging artists. In addition we run a series of public and education programs, workshops and prizes. All combined we have created a rich and diverse cultural event that attracts an audience of some 26,000 supporters, many of whom travel to Ballarat for the event.
