Abacus Learning Centre

Abacus Learning Centre came into being in 2008 when a team of parents and supporters shared an inspired vision to provide centre-based Early Intensive Behaviour Intervention (EIBI) for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Services provided by Abacus are based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), focusing on increasing the intellectual, academic, social, and emotional behaviours of children and adolescents with ASD.

The team are totally committed to delivering an innovative and flexible service that can be tailored to meet the individual needs of students and their families.

Programs are structured so that positive behaviours are maximised and undesired behaviours are reduced, ensuring each student is motivated to learn in a engaging environment.

Abacus also provides support and training to parents and carers, giving the family the confidence and skills to participate in their community.
