About International China Concern (Australia) Ltd

International China Concern (ICC) is a Christian development organisation dedicated to changing lives by bringing love, hope and opportunity to China’s abandoned and disabled children.

ICC was founded in 1993 by David Gotts after seeing firsthand the suffering of Chinese children with disabilities who had been abandoned and left without hope in desperate conditions.

In the beginning, ICC sent short-term teams into China to provide care in government welfare centres. Later, we established permanent locations which provide full-time family-style care for children in Changsha and Hengyang in Hunan Province.

Volunteers, in various roles, help us to achieve more with our resources, allowing more funds to go to the projects in China.
