About FamilyCare
FamilyCare works with individuals, families and communities to increase wellbeing, build strengths and encourage optimism. Our Vision is strong families and communities.
FamilyCare has offices in Shepparton, Seymour, Wallan & Cobram, with an outreach presence in Kinglake, Alexandra & Kilmore. As well as being the main family service provider across the Goulburn Valley, FamilyCare offers support to families of children with disabilities and carer support services, particularly to those caring for people who are frail or aged.
FamilyCare have many volunteering opportunities across the Agency with our secondhand book store, The Book Inn (run by our volunteers), our IntoRec program, Child & Family Services and Carer Support.
Our IntoRec program offers a variety of assisted programs and recreational activities for people with a disability. These programs aim to provide a safe, enjoyable and nurturing environment where individuals can socialise with friends, participate in enjoyable activities, and access the community.
IntoRec programs are developed according to each individual person's needs, and include a range of programs and activities that assist in the development of skills for the benefit of those individuals as the move through life.
IntoRec is a registered NDIS provider.
