About Woodworks Museum and Interpretive Centre
The Woodworkers Museum and Interpretive Centre is a Not for Profit Organisation. The Museum was Opened in 1984 with the purpose of preserving the rich history of the Forestry Service and Timber Industry in Queensland. The Museum is owned by Gympie Regional Council and is currently Leased to Private Forestry Service Queensland a Not for Profit Organisation (PFSQ). The museum also educates the Public on sustainability of Native Forests and Plantations into the future.
