About Victorian Goalball Association
Our story began in 1987 when a group of athletes decided to come together and form the Victorian Goalball Association. Goalball is a team Paralympic sport specially designed for blind and vision impaired athletes. For thirty seven years, we have been providing the sport of Goalball to disadvantaged members of the community. From our home base in Hawthorn, we have been providing programs to people of all ages and sight levels that promote physical activity, build confidence, independence and life skills and develop networks and lifelong friendships.
