About Look Good Feel Better (MVRC)

Look Good Feel Better is a free national community service program dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by their treatment. Patients participate in a practical workshop demonstration covering skin care, make-up and headwear, leaving them empowered and ready to face their cancer diagnosis with confidence.

Look Good Feel Better workshops are open to anyone undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer, with more than 130,000 people around Australia having benefitted from the program to date.

The program relies on a team of 1,300 trained volunteers to help deliver the workshops, and with Look Good Feel Better receiving no government funding, it is the generosity of the community that allows for the service to be provided to the cancer patents free-of-charge.
