About CWA of WA Albany Branch
Albany CWA is a not-for-profit community organisation. The Aim of the Association shall be to improve the wellbeing of all people, especially those in country areas by promoting courtesy, cooperation, community effort, ethical standards and the wise use of resources. Albany members currently run the Albany "Seaside Flats" holiday units, which provide affordable, basic accomodation for the public to have a break at the sea, on Middleton Beach. We also run the "South Coast Lodge" retirement units - very low rent accomodation for the over-55s, 16 units, we have a strong need for this from older, single women. Albany Branch Hall has just been partially upgraded and opened for public use once more. The aim is for this to become a hub for community activities, and Albany CWA to play a strong, central role in supporting local groups and causes.
