About Queensland Cricket

Queensland Cricket is the governing body for cricket in our state, and is responsible for the game's promotion, development and administration. While our elite teams compete at the highest level in Australia's domestic competitions, we are also committed to supporting all junior, grassroots and club initiatives, ensuring cricket remains Queensland's favourite sport.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of cricket teams and cricket clubs across Queensland and Australia. They are the people who give their time so generously to ensure that players of all ages can enjoy practising and playing our great game. It may be as a committee member or grounds keeper, a canteen attendant or scorer, or a junior coach or manager.

Every volunteer that gives their time so that others can enjoy cricket plays a major role in the development of our game.
