About International Programs Unit - Federal Court of Australia

The International Programs Unit is part of Principal Registry in Sydney and is responsible for the provision of a number of development assistance programs with judiciaries throughout the Asia Pacific region. The Court’s engagement in international cooperation is based on the understanding that long-term links between Australian institutions and those of developing nations in the region are beneficial to development.

The work of the International Programs Unit involves facilitating collaboration between senior Courts across the world, particularly throughout the Asia Pacific region; designing and delivering technical assistance projects; capacity building; and institutional strengthening activities.
