Fishability (Supported by Volunteer Melville!)

Delivers programs to increase the active involvement of people with disabilities into recreational fishing throughout the metro area.

Our objectives are reached through specially structured, fully supervised fishing activities in areas with disabled access. Or from our purpose built boat the 'Nev Thiomas'. Independent participation in fishing is aided by the use of specially designed motorized reels.

All the shore and boat based fishing workshops are free of charge and all fishing equipment is provided.
