The Geelong Cats Foundation was established to ensure that we remain competitive on the field, that we make a significant difference in our community and that we protect, preserve and promote our great history and tradition.

The Mighty Cats have had some incredible highs, winning the 2007, 2009 and 2011 premierships, but also some losses including 44 years without a premiership and serious financial trouble during the 1990s. It is the aim of the Foundation that we continue to experience the highs through a secure financial future that provides not only for the Club, but also for our supportive community.

The vision of the Geelong Cats Foundation is to:

Continue to make a significant difference in our community, to help young people make good choices for their ongoing health and wellbeing;
Remain super-competitive on the field by directly supporting critical areas of our club that can’t be ignored; and
Cater for the club’s rich heritage, ensuring it is always available for everyone to enjoy.

We believe our Club has the greatest history of all clubs. We are committed to caring for our Club’s great history and tradition, ensuring memorabilia is displayed safely and responsibly for everyone to enjoy.
