About The Centre for Volunteering

The Centre represents more than 2 million volunteers and many volunteering organisations in NSW, and provides services for its members. Members are mainly not-for-profit organisations, large and small, across all sectors. The Centre also works with government and corporate organisations on Corporate Social Responsibility and employee volunteering programs. We reach thousands of individuals and organisations involved in the volunteering sector through our online and traditional communication channels. Our Volunteer Referral Service connects volunteers with our Member Organisations.

Programs and services offer access to: Bridge to Volunteering sessions, Consultancy Services, Employee Volunteering, state-wide services link The Centre to over 25 regional Volunteer Resource Centres, and Seek Volunteer.

The NSW Volunteer of the Year Award run by The Centre for Volunteering recognises and publicly acknowledges the invaluable work done by NSW volunteers. It showcases active volunteers who have shown dedication and initiative in their work and have positively contributed to the not-for-profit organisation they volunteer for.

Mission Statement:
