About aa Volunteer Drivers - Department for Child Protection - Mount Barker and Adelaide Hills

Department for Child Protection – Fleurieu Peninsula and Adelaide Hills (Based in Mount Barker)

We're working to keep South Australia's children safe by protecting them from abuse and harm, and providing alternative care for children and young people when living at home is no longer an option. Children and Young people need to travel from one place to another - this is not always able to be done by their carers - this is where you step in and become their driver.
All volunteers use SA Government vehicles for tasks and are reimbursed for mileage to the office and home in their personal vehicles.
Training is provided and a Working with Children Check is required every five years.
