The National Association for Loss and Grief (NALAG) provides grief support to those who have experienced loss. This loss could be the passing of a loved one, separation, loss of employment/income and many other facets. NALAG was formed after the Granville train disaster 40 years ago and now has 2 centres based in Dubbo and Mudgee which provide grief support face to face and via telephone. We also have 2 branches run from Sydney and Bellingen. Our Sydney branch provides telephone support only. Volunteers will be trained in providing loss and grief support so no formal psychotherapy education (such as psychology, social work or counselling qualification) is necessary.
