About South East Centre for Contemporary Art (SECCA)

SECCA has a dedicated team of assistants who volunteer in varying capacities and levels of commitment that suit their availability, though two shifts a fortnight are preferable. A knowledge or training in the Arts isn’t necessary, we have volunteers from all walks of life! Volunteering can take many forms, from installation of exhibitions to being a smiling welcome face and assisting with purchases from our gallery shop. Helping at our social functions and our many public programs even maintaining our new gardens are also an option!
SECCA is approved to offer placements to assist jobseekers to meet their Mutual Obligations Requirements.
