About Tactile Arts
Tactile Arts is a member based, not-for-profit community arts organisation that actively supports and promotes artists and craftspeople from Darwin and the top end of the Northern Territory.
Operating since 1975, Tactile Arts is one of Darwin’s longest established arts organisations, providing on-going support for emerging and established artists and craftspeople.
Our annual schedule of events includes a monthly changing exhibition program, artist member exhibitions, vibrant workshop program, Tactile Arts Boutique retail gallery in the Darwin CBD, popular craft fairs and an Artist-In-Residence program.
Tactile Arts is located in the grounds of the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, five minutes from the centre of Darwin.
