Myeloma Foundation of Australia

Myeloma Australia is a not for profit health promotions charity registered with the ACNC. It is the only myeloma dedicated organisation in Australia. The Foundation employs highly skilled myeloma nurses to inform and support those living with myeloma and to educate those involved in its care and treatment. Through our Medical and Scientific Advisory Group (MSAG) Myeloma Australia facilitates myeloma research. We are determined to raise community awareness and understanding of myeloma and to achieve patient access to the latest treatments at affordable prices.

Myeloma is an incurable cancer of the plasma cells and affects multiple places in the body where bone marrow is active i.e. within the bones of the spine, pelvis, skull, the rib cage, and areas around the shoulders and hips.
