Switchboard Victoria

Switchboard Victoria is a volunteer organisation that aims to increase connection and support within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ) Communities. Our newest program - Out & About - is a volunteer based visiting program for older people who identify as LGBTIQ, who may be lonely or socially isolated, and whose quality of life may be improved through friendship and companionship. Our volunteers visit older LGBTIQ people on a regular basis to undertake activities such as talking and sharing life stories, reading, watching TV or a movie, or going out for a walk.
