Our mission is to facilitate and support a culture of lifelong learning and evolution of ideas. We do this by providing practical tools and solutions in education, sustainable practices and positive and meaningful community interaction.
The Community Education Development and Research Centre (CEDAR), was established as the Toowoomba Education Centre on its present site within the campus of the University of Southern Queensland, in 1976. It was one of a network of community managed Education Centres Australia wide, established to address the Commonwealth Government’s Education priorities
