About Queensland Maritime Museum
The Queensland Maritime Museum has been collecting, preserving and sharing our Maritime Heritage for 50 years.
With reasonable admission fees and a wide range of interesting maritime displays the Museum attracts up to 40,000 visitors p.a.
An inclusive organisation, our valued volunteers help care for and share our 60,000 strong collection with locals and visitors from around the world.
Such a large collection requires continuous care and maintenance. Volunteer roles range from skilled to unskilled, from intellectual to manual, from technical to artistic.
Volunteers are inducted and offered opportunities to train in their areas of interest where possible and learn from experienced Volunteer Team Leaders.
Half Day or Full Day, once or more per month, your contribution will be appreciated.
