About Melba Support Services

Melba Support Services is a not-for-profit, community based organisation that supports people who live with a disability to lead lives of their choice. Celebrating 45 years of service in 2017, Melba’s vision is a society that values the individuality and rights of all people.

Our mission, individuals with a disability leading everyday lives, underpins every decision, action and communication undertaken at Melba, and helps to ensure that the services we provide value and respect the rights of each person accessing our services, and focuses on each person as an individual.
Melba currently provides support in the eastern and southern regions of Melbourne. Our head office is located on Melba Avenue, Lilydale and our regional office is located in Dandenong.
Our commitment to person-centred services, is evidenced by our accreditation with the Council on Quality and Leadership, USA. Melba became the first Australian organisation to be accredited under CQL’s Person-Centred Excellence “with Distinction” quality framework.
Melba provides a range of services, including:
• Accommodation (Community Living)
• Daytime Participation and Learning (Community Connections)
