Fernlea House is an independent, community-based organisation

Fernlea House is located in Emerald providing the only Palliative Care Day Respite service in the hills. We provide day respite for people diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, chronic conditions and/or Dementia. Guests are cared for by trained staff and volunteers in a home-like environment.

We provided meals, activities and complimentary therapies for our guests who attend four days a week. We also run Fernlea Life Care our fee for service in-home respite and support service, as well as our satellite day respite centre in Pakenham.
