Anyone can become a volunteer tutor, even if you’re not a native English speaker. All you need is confidence in English, access to transport and the desire to help others learn. You will be helping people to access basic services and connect with the community, thereby having a huge impact on their ability to settle in Australia.

Uniting provides door to door transport service to people who have no means of transport to medical appointments. We need reliable drivers to transport older people and those with disabilities or chronic medical conditions to and from health and medical appointments.

Volunteers are required to help our aged care and retirement living clients participate in onsite lifestyle services such as Arts & Crafts, Games, Literacy Programs and Exercise Sessions. If you enjoy being with our Seniors and giving back to the community, this may suit you. Lunch Provided. 8.30am - 4 pm Monday - Friday. May offer required hours of volunteering if needed for mutual obligations. Days and times can be negotiated with the coordinator. (C)
