The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) provides social support to seniors from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. ACVVS volunteers must agree for a minimum of 1 visit per fortnight, for at least 12 months. We are looking for Volunteer Visitors interested in spending time with individual residents or a small group of residents to give gentle hand massages and apply colour to nails. No experience is necessary, and all products are supplied. 

We currently have multiple opportunities for Volunteers to assist our Care Workers in stand-transfers of residents and assisting them to their meals.

We are looking for a gardener to maintain our beautiful gardens, that our elderly clients enjoy. The gardener will keep the area free of weeds and keep the fountains clean and Cut back any overgrown vegetation. Our gardener will enjoy a free hot lunch and morning tea provided by our chef.

Shopping Support Volunteers are needed. There are older people in our community who need the support of a friendly, caring and reliable person to assist them with their grocery shopping. All Aged Care are looking for volunteer drivers to use our Fleet or your own car (reimbursement for KM's) to transport older people to/from their homes, medical appointments, social activities and respite sessions.

A lovely older lady would like a volunteer to visit her on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for around an hour on a weekly basis either chatting over a cuppa, or going for a drive (she will drive her car) to the shops or the beach.
