Cook for Bloomhill Cafe, on a roster basis. On the job training will be given to volunteers, covering food handling and safety requirements. Basic cooking skills will be necessary for all applicants.

Your outgoing nature & positive, can-do attitude will be highly regarded in this role. You'll be interacting with frail & aged members of our community as they participate in a variety of organised activities including going to the movies & serving morning tea & lunch. You'll need a current driver's license & a comprehensively insured vehicle as you'll collect our clients from their home & bring them to the activity centre. You'll also be assisting with activities & clean-up. Police check req.

In cooperation with other team members, assist with tasks required to provide food & refreshments to a large number of people. May include purchase, prep & storage of food; setting & waiting at tables; washing, drying & cleaning up.

• Greet guests, family members and friends and orient them to the hospice and its facilities • Provide meals and refreshments for guests, family members and friends • Maintain the cleanliness of the guests’ rooms and the hospice overall - this includes vacuuming, dusting, washing, sweeping and general tidying of areas • Answer the telephone at the hospice if required, taking and passing on messages • Provide companionship to the guest and the guest’s family members and friends

Assist with kitchen/dining room duties at Mandurah Seniors and Community Centre. No cooking involved as you will be working with a chef. Assist with food preparation eg peeling and cutting up vegies, stacking dishes into dishwasher, serving lunches and general dining room duties. Albany Community Care Centre is looking for special caring volunteers to assist the Kitchen Staff in preparation and serving of morning/afternoon tea and lunches to the center's clients.

So many isolated and aged members of our community but not enough Volunteers to delivery them their meals! Could you offer 1.5 hrs a week, fortnight or even a month? Please express an interest in this role today! This role sees Volunteers deliver hot and cold meals directly to the homes of isolated and aged community members. This role requires the use of your own vehicle- it may also be something you’d like to do with a friend/ family member! A small fuel reimbursement is given each 6mths!

Assist in an aged care facility coffee shop through preparation of tea, coffee, milkshakes, sandwich’s and delivery of hot meals, sweets and cakes prepared by the kitchen to residents, staff and visitors.
