We don’t need you to have experience we just want you to be an active part of our team with ideas and enthusiasm and engage with residents to provide fun and entertainment.

We are looking for someone to coordinate a resident based choir. If you are musical and can commit to once a week or fortnight, we'd love to hear from you.

Do you speak Italian and have some spare time? Make a difference to the lives of elderly Italian residents by chatting in Italian and helping them to feel less socially isolated and lonely.

Do you have a passion for gardening? If the answer is yes, then we have the volunteer role for you! We are seeking keen gardeners to assist with the maintainence of extensive gardens in and around our aged care facility.

Variety of positions available from social activities, to baking, shopping, knitting, sewing and craft and providing support during bus outings to Melbourne and the surrounding Dandenong Ranges.

Abbeyfield, a charity providing low cost, long term housing and meals for mature age pensioners, we require volunteer committee members to advise on and oversee operations.

As you may imagine the lock down was a lonely time, so we have created some new volunteer roles to help reduce social isolation and help the elderly who live independently to reconnect back into the community.
