St George Community Transport are looking for friendly volunteers who can work closely with our drivers and provide our clients with a safe and enjoyable experience. If you are a kind compassionate person who would like to give back to the community we would love to hear from you.

Our Volunteers on our Social Outings Trips lend a hand in assisting our clients on and off the buses and to navigate their way around an exhibition, a garden or the theatre. Our outings are many and varied and you will have a great time. We are a friendly team and our drivers work alongside our assistants and carers to ensure we all have a lot of laughs and a lot of fun. We also reimburse our volunteers $30 per day to cover any out-of-pocket expenses.

Are you caring, kind and resilient? We need you! A gentle person is needed to visit a lovely Australian lady who lives in aged care in the Pendle Hill area. You could read, listen to music, talk about your travels, or enjoy the lovely garden together. This is such a rewarding way to volunteer. You could bring joy to life for this lady just by dropping in to visit on a regular basis.

Volunteering at Leigh Place is very dynamic and based on volunteers skills and objectives. Over the years, volunteers shared fantastic skills and ideas! Below are some activities available: • Assist lifestyle team to deliver activities • Escort residents to outings • Gardening • Entertainment • Company, conversation and socialisation • Digital devices support Volunteers make an incredible contribution to residents' health and wellbeing, avoiding social isolation, anxiety and depression.
