JOIN OUR TEAM! We’re looking for volunteers to join our team of Aged Care Volunteer Visitors. ACVVS helps break down social isolation and loneliness by connecting our volunteers with older people whose quality of life and self-worth would be improved by positive engagement and companionship.

As an Advocare Aged Care Volunteer Visitor we are asking you to devote one hour per week (minimum) to supporting an older person in your community through friendship and companionship. By helping reduce social isolation for an older person, you will be making a difference to their wellbeing. This Role is Monday- Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Advocare volunteers assist in providing the Advocare Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) to older people living in Residential Aged Care facilities or receiving a Home Care Package. Volunteers engage in one-on-one visits to people who are socially isolated or experiencing loneliness and whose quality of life would be improved by positive engagement and companionship.

We are looking for someone who enjoys gardening, listening to music and having a cuppa. Providing support to a lady who is need of companionship and friendship to enjoy common interests and join in on activities. This Role is Monday-Sunday 9.00am-5.00pm
