This Volunteer will offer support to the staff of Volunteer South West in various administration activities. This volunteer will also be trained to interview prospective clients and will be occasionally asked to assist on a stall at expos.

As the Volunteer and Staff Coordinator for the Big Love Festival 2024 (Chenrezig Institute 26-28th September 2024), you’ll be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and staff to support the successful execution of the event. You’ll ensure all festival volunteers and staff are equipped with the necessary resources and information to fulfil their roles effectively, contributing to a positive and memorable experience for festival attendees.

As the Marketing Manager for the Big Love Festival (Chenrezig Institute, 26-28th September 2024) you will play a vital role in driving ongoing ticket sales through festival promotion and brand awareness through multiple platforms/marketing/communication methods. Branding has already been developed, some early marketing has already begun and tickets are already selling. This role begins asap until end September, following festival wrap up and lessons learnt are documented for future festivals.

Butterflies is an Op Shop run in support of Hospice. They are currently looking for people on all days, especially Monday or Wednesday and/or Friday for a three hour shift 1pm to 4pm and/or Friday morning 10am to 1pm. Duties include serving customers, sorting clothes; hanging, ironing and pricing clothes, and general shop tidying.

Computers 4 Learning (C4L) is a volunteer run not-for-profit charity organisation that refurbishes computers for a minimal fee to disadvantaged local community members and overseas (through other charity organisations).
