Home and Lifestyle Options (HALO) formerly SDSA

Volunteers assist our clients socially, help with transport, run acitivites, and more. These everyday angels make a huge difference to peoples lives, and we work to ensure that the time volunteers give us in fun and fleixble.

Providing social interaction on an individual basis.

Setting up and assisting with group activities. eg: computer classes, bingo, cards, art classes, tai chi

Cooking and craft classes

Setting up and running conversations during a social group

Driving the community bus (volunteers with an endorsed 12 seater license)

Assisting with administration and office tasks

Accompanying clients to attend the Lifestyle Club and on their return home in the afternoon

Assisting clients to attend medical appointments, either at the local doctor or one Perth's major hospitals
