Ocean Connect Incorporated

Ocean Connect Incorporated is a research centre based in the Science, Environment, Engineering and Technology Group. In partnership with Gold Coast City Council, our goal is to become a Centre of Excellence by developing and promoting, at a national and international level, targeted research that contributes to all aspects of sustainable management of coastal regions.

Our objective has been to develop broad research and training agendas for coastal management. This has been achieved by improving and developing new best practices through the encouragement of research relevant to the sustainable management of urban environments in coastal areas and, in particular, Gold Coast City.
