About Kew Toy Library

The Kew Toy Library is a not-for-profit community organisation, established and run by volunteer parents of the local community in 1985, providing a toy borrowing service to families and group care providers in Boroondara.

The library stocks over 3,000 toys that cater for children from birth to 12 years of age, in addition to children with special needs.

Its aim is to enrich the learning experience play facilitates by offering toys based on a child’s current stage of development. It is also an important community connection hub for the Kew and wider community.
