SAFE (Saving Animals from Euthanasia)

"Our compassionate approach ensures all animals are provided with home-based care, are desexed and given veterinary care before being placed in a new permanent home. This is achieved without the need to confine animals in costly-to-run shelter facilities.

SAFE (Saving Animals from Euthanasia Inc.) was founded in Karratha in 2003 and since its inception over 32,400 healthy, rehomable animals have been saved and adopted to new homes in WA and across the country. SAFE now have 11 branches across WA

The organisation has expanded to become WA’s largest volunteer-based animal rescue and rehoming service using the foster care model and is the Western Australian arm of Companion Animal Network – Australia CAN (formerly Animal Welfare League Australia, AWLA)."
