Commitment is bi-monthly for 2hour daytime meetings. BDEC engages with government, community agencies, and the public in order to encourage the preservation of the natural environment in the local area. They undertake a number of practical and administrative initiatives.

Interested in bookkeeping and financials and have two hours a week to spare? We need a suitable person to undertake financial requirements for the Environment Centre. This position is 80% Bookkeeping and reporting to the BDEC committee at bi-monthly meetings and the AGM. Volunteer needs to attend meetings in person.

Do you have a Pet Environment Interest/project?, Do you have a Pet Environmental Peeve or Outrage? Would you like some action on what matters to you environmentally? BDEC are currently seeking people to assist with Fencing, Weed Spraying, Weeding and site maintenance. Training will be provided.
