Volunteer Cafe Assistants required for a dedicated café for residents, families and visitors. Along with setting up prior to opening and cleaning up prior to closing, greeting customers, taking orders, preparing and serving food and coffees, you will be required to be patient, friendly and outgoing. Join a fun team environment and connect with your local community!

Our team, based in Taigum, offer a number of services including group outings and activities for our residents. Volunteer Drivers support our staff with the transporting of residents to and from social outings or appointments. You will be driving a 17 seat minibus, which requires a Light Rigid (LR) QLD Drivers Licence and a clean driving history.

Join the Team at Church Road Taigum to help deliver a number of services including group outings and activities for our residents. The Activities Assistants will work with our paid staff in supporting residents with various activities and group programs. Along with setting up and packing down activities, you will be required to offer reassurance and support along the way – joining in is encourage!

Join the Team to assist with our Friday Friendship Ladies Group. This group undertakes a variety of activities including outings to cafes for lunch, beach, picnics. They also undertake activities in the centre, such as bingo, quizzes and other games. We are currently looking for volunteer to work with our paid staff, supporting clients with various activities and group programs.

Join the Team! In Queensland, Thread Together operates as a three-way partnership between Thread Together, Anglicare Southern Queensland and the Anglican Church of Southern Queensland, with a base at St Andrew’s Anglican Church Indooroopilly. Thread Together Queensland operates a “clothing hub” two mornings a week and runs a “mobile wardrobe” (modified Toyota Hi-Ace) which visits agencies around Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast, Ipswich and the Redlands, supporting people who are doing it tough.
